Flatstick Pub’s Sunday FUNDday Raises Nearly $2,000 for BGCLT

South Lake Tahoe, Cali. – South Lake Tahoe’s first indoor mini golf course, Flatstick Pub, also known as Tipsy Putt, teamed up with the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe in February to give back to South Lake Tahoe’s local youth.

Giga Bite Robotics FTC Team Victorious at Nevada State Championships

Team #20681 Giga Bite, a South Lake Tahoe FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) youth robotics team, has emerged as a member of the winning alliance of the Nevada State Championships, held  March 3rd and 4th in Henderson, Nevada. The team, along with VC Silver Circuits and MCII, formed the winning alliance and battled it out against 29 other teams from across the state and nearby regions.

Why is Club Closed on Snow Days?

This winter is trying to break all the records. One of the most frustrating ones is the number of snow days from school. Not only are snow days a loss of learning time, but they are also a significant financial burden for working parents.  So why doesn’t the Club open on snow days so parents can still go to work?
