The Bright Futures Awards Ceremony, held at the Angel of Tahoe Building on Wednesday, April 26th, was a wonderful event for Club members, staff, donors and community partners.
Team #20681 Giga Bite, a South Lake Tahoe FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) youth robotics team, has emerged as a member of the winning alliance of the Nevada State Championships, held March 3rd and 4th in Henderson, Nevada. The team, along with VC Silver Circuits and MCII, formed the winning alliance and battled it out against 29 other teams from across the state and nearby regions.

Mya Rossi is rewarded for her outstanding contribution to the Club and her community. Selected among several local outstanding youths, Mya has been awarded the honorary role of Youth of the Year of the Boys and Girls club of Lake Tahoe.
