Boys & Girls Club Lake Tahoe

Tahoe Brewfest Moves to Ski Run Blvd

Since its start in 2017, Tahoe Brewfest has been all about community.  Deb Brown of Cold Water Brewery and Grill had a vision for our Brewfest that would set it apart from others: it would celebrate community in addition to great beer. That was one of the principal reasons that Deb chose to make the local Boys and Girls Club the non-profit beneficiary of the event, and why the Brewfest partners with local businesses and hotels. Tahoe Brewfest is a celebration of everything that makes this community special and we love to share that with locals and visitors alike.

Changes this School Year

This school year will bring us a lot of change. A number of significant changes to the structure and operation of the Lake Tahoe Unified School District will go into effect at the start of this school year. The Club has been busy working on our response to those changes.

Upcoming Events! Brewfest & Open House

Warm days and blue skies say one thing at the Boys and Girls Club of Lake Tahoe and that’s “Hooray for Summer!!” Summertime is an amazing time at the Club because we get to enjoy our high-altitude summer to the fullest. Alongside abundant day camps and field trips we also get to host the annual Tahoe Brewfest, which is our largest fundraiser of the year.

What a Year!

This school year was one for the record books. From fires, to vaccines, massive snow loads to moving into our new building. We want to take a minute and reflect on this past year. Firstly, we would like to thank the staff members who make Club possible each and every day. They are the true heroes who have stuck by to bring fun, fitness, education and self-awareness to all of our Club kids. Our staff members deserve a round of applause for all of their efforts. This year all of our staff became certified in Trauma Informed Care, including a focus on self-care so they can be the best versions of themselves. Kudos to all the staff for showing just how AWESOME you truly are!
