Tahoe is amazing. But when outsiders talk about why Tahoe is amazing, they talk about our lake, our mountains, our forests, etc But when locals talk about why Tahoe is amazing, they are also talking about our community.
At the end of April the CDC released their 2021 guidance for summer camps and youth clubs. The general theme of the guidance was 'nothing has changed'. For those of us who have been operating successfully for nearly a year under COVID restrictions - the take away is keep doing what you are doing and try to encourage everyone to vaccinate.
The phone has been ringing off the hook for the past month as understandably parents want to know about their options for the summer. And options are limited this year. The FRC and the City will not be running their programs. LTCC have a fantastic selection of summer programs, and the Presbyterian Church will be running their summer camps, but the Club is the only program running for all school age groups for full days.
