We are pleased to have such an amazing group of youth offering their helping hands. Members ages 13+ are able to volunteer one day a week in place for the membership fee. Membership is $500.00 and that would include the $100 for the coming 2014-15 school year. WHAT A DEAL! Our Jr. Staff help serve meals,they run snack bar here at the club and starting soon they will be running snack bar at the BMX track, they help to ensure members are engaged and safe, and they help to set examples for our younger members. We have around 8 Junior Staff members. All of these kids are members here at the club and have transitioned into the junior staff role, we hope to have them transition in to a real STAFF position here at the club.
Casey Bartevian (15) is currently a student at South Tahoe High School. He is going to be a sophomore in the 2014-15 school year. Casey did not grow up here in the basin but he feels like Tahoe is the place to be. He wants to move to Europe when he saves up enough money to do so. Casey is goal oriented and very driven.
Josh Kornbeck (16) is currently a student at South Tahoe High school. He is going to be a junior in the 2014-15 school year. Josh is our youth of the year,and we are very proud to have him as a role model for our younger members. Josh runs snack bar and helps in any area that he can.
Mike Kornbeck (13) is currently a student at South Tahoe middle school. He will be an 8th grader in the 2014-15 school year. Mike is a very helpful individual who can bring a smile to anyone he comes in contact with. Mike also helps run snack bar and helps to serve lunch and snack to our members daily.
Kayla Smith(16) is currently a student at South Tahoe High School. Kayla will be a junior in the 2014-15 school year. Kayla enjoys outdoor survival, ice skating and horseback riding. Kayla is a hardworking individual who loves to help with our 3-5 grade groups. Kayla also helps out in the office and anywhere else she is needed.
Dawson Cloutier (16) is currently a student at South Tahoe High School. Dawson loves to play music and make his peers laugh. Dawson is hardworking and dependable. He helps out throughout the club and has a huge impact on our members.
Aria D’aintree (14) Is currently a student at South Tahoe Middle school, She will be a freshman in the 2014-15 school year. Aria is a very creative and artistic person with a positive attitude. Aria helps with the elementary kids and also does a lot of office work. Aria has been a member since 2006.
Assisting the Staff and the Jr. Staff we have Junior Volunteers. Our Jr. Volunteers are responsible for monitoring the hallways, distributing bathroom passes. helping with snack and serving lunch and they help organize all of our supplies. We are very appreciative to have so many of our youth engaged and actively helping out at the club.
