New community playground breaks ground at Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe

On May 30, 2025, the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe officially broke ground on a brand-new playground at the Angel of Tahoe Clubhouse following the success of its $500,000 “Let the Kids Play” campaign.

Untethered Workspace Continues Community Playground Fundraising Efforts with $25k Match Donation

Untethered Workspace has graciously decided to match up to $25,000 in donations to the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe through the end of May. Raised funds will benefit the Club’s community playground campaign, “Let the Kids Play!”.

The Importance of Play

Norway has the highest literacy rate in the world, and 90% of Norwegians speak a second language (primarily English).  And yet, Norwegian children don't start formal education until they are over the age of 7.  Instead, they spend their pre-school and kindergarten years engaging in active play.  Norway recognizes that social and emotional health and physical wellbeing is essential to child development; including their academic achievement.
