The Season of Goodwill

December is a truly magical time.  With the festivals of Hanukkah, Christmas, the promise of a New Year, and for many - some well deserved time off work, December is a time for family, friends, parties, school performances, visits to Santa, shopping and fun.  But, as the COVID-19 pandemic continues, and our local community is experiencing a huge spike in infections, December 2020 is proving to be a real grinch.

Summer Arriving Just in Time for the Tahoe Brewfest

Saturday morning kicks off with the children’s fishing derby at Sawmill Pond, which finishes just in time for you to head over to Heavenly Cal Lodge and the Tahoe Brewfest.  40 breweries, cider, kombucha, root beer, craft sodas and wine is just the start of this amazing event.

Tahoe is Brewing for the Big Day

Have you purchased your ticket to the Tahoe Brewfest yet?  Over 1200 other people have and this year’s event is shaping up to be the top of the hops.  As well as over 40 breweries, we’ll also be pouring cider, root beer, craft sodas and yes – we gave in – wine!  For those of you who don’t like the grain, the Tahoe Pourhouse will be on hand with their unique frozen wine – a perfect refresher for what will hopefully be another hot and sunny day.
