Our amazing Events and Fundraising Director Nicole Marsel has been hard at work since last November preparing for this year’s Tahoe Brewfest. The magic date is Saturday June 1st and already we have sold over 700 tickets for the event. Last year the Brewfest raised over $60,000 for the Club and our goal is to make it the number 1 Club fundraiser this year. But we also want the Brewfest to be great for our community and are teaming up with vendors, lodging properties and restaurants to make sure that they also receive benefit from the event. Last year one of our vendors made over $6000 in profit at the Brewfest and we know how important those dollars can be for small local businesses and entrepreneurs.
This Friday, the Tahoe Brewfest will be at the Tahoe Chamber Business Expo. Not only do we want to support the great work of our Chamber, but we also want to give our community the opportunity to be part of our event. At our booth we will be giving away the chance to win a vendor pass to the Brewfest. Valued at $200, interested participants just need to pop a business card in our bowl and we will do a drawing at 8.45pm. We are anticipating 4000 attendees at the Brewfest, so this will be a great way to get a start-up or growing business to a new audience.
At our booth we will also be selling VIP tickets to the event for the price of General Entry, a saving of $15 that gets you an extra hour at the event and a commemorative stainless steel mug. You can also win VIP Brewfest tickets in the Chamber’s silent auction.
So come out to the Expo this Friday and support our Chamber and the Club. Tickets in advance are $10 or $25 on the door. It’s a fun night for everyone and who knows, you might just be our winner!
