Despite the unexpectedly chilly and wild weather in August, the 7th Annual Tahoe Brewfest on Ski Run Blvd was a tremendous success, raising over $125,000 for the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe. On Saturday, August 24th, more than 40 local and regional breweries showcased their craft beer, kombucha, cider, and spirits. More than 2,000 attendees were at the event, traveling from across the globe, representing 21 states as well as countries such as Japan and France.

Guests enjoyed an array of offerings, including non-alcoholic drinks like Liquid Death and Celsius, local food vendors, bubbles and hoops from Tahoe Fire Dancers, live painting by Treefort Design’s Matt Kauffman, face painting, a photo booth featuring Tahoe Green’s yellow 21 window ragtop classic Volkswagen van, and music played by DJs Dylan Thomas, Deon Pearson, and Owen Avila.

“The 7th Annual Tahoe Brewfest didn’t disappoint, the weather held until around 4:30pm and then there were 1,000 people dancing in the rain,” said Brewfest Director Aimi Xistra-Rich. “It’s our largest fundraiser of the year for the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe and we can’t thank all our supporting breweries, sponsors, vendors and volunteers enough, you’re awesome and we couldn’t do this without you.”

“We are truly honored to have participated in our first Tahoe Brewfest and to host the VIP area for such a fantastic event,” said Cold Water Brewery Owners Melanie and Kevin Hubbert. “It was an incredible experience working with the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe, and we’re thrilled to support an organization that means so much to this community. The energy and fun in the VIP area were unforgettable and we are already looking forward to next year. As both business owners and parents, we’re deeply grateful for the positive impact the Boys & Girls Club has on our son and so many other children in this community.”

Looking ahead, the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe is excited to announce that the 8th Annual Tahoe Brewfest is on the horizon. The official date is Saturday, August 23, 2025.
