The Club has been accepting enrollments into the summer program since March 1st and numbers have already reached the half way point, with some groups full or nearly full.
“Our ‘baby blue’ group, the TK or pre-schoolers who are going into K in the fall, is already full and spaces for our 2nd and 3rd grade group are also filling fast” explained Kelly Giardina, Director of Operations.
There is still plenty of time to enroll for the next school year but families who want their child(ren) to attend in the summer should sign up as soon as possible. The cost for the whole year membership is $700 and that will give families first refusal of spaces during the school vacations. Summer only membership is $650 and after-school only membership is $100, but that will not include school vacations such as Winter Break and Spring Break.
A $100 deposit is required to secure a space for all types of membership, but payment plans are available to help with the remaining costs. A limited number of scholarships are also available and interested parties are requested to speak with Kelly to obtain a list of the information the Club requires.
Children attending the Club during the summer will enjoy a FREE breakfast and lunch and a variety of fun activities at the Club and in the local area. We will again be partnering with the Tahoe Institute of Natural Sciences to offer a FREE Entomology Camp and the Tahoe Rim Trail Association to provide a FREE four-day backpacking trips for our teens. Information on other free and pay for field trips and activities will be available on May 1st.
Currently only two days in the summer are without a major activity and we are excited to offer another fun and action packed summer for our members.
Sign-up nights are from 5-6pm Tuesdays and Thursdays at the main Clubhouse, 1100 Lyon’s Avenue. If you cannot make that time then please email Kelly at [email protected] or call her on 530 542 0838 to set up a personal appointment.
