It is hard to believe that we only have one and a half weeks of summer left, but thanks to Lisa Maloff, we will once again be ending summer in style.
Our end of summer party will be held on Friday the 16th August from 10-4 and all Club members are invited; whole year, summer only and after-school only. Parents are invited too! The party is a week earlier this year to avoid conflict with the LTUSD back to school events and any last minute school supply shopping that you have to do.
The party is going to kick off with a Magic Show at 10am in our MPR. That will be followed by a very special presentation by a Representative from Assemblyman Frank Bigelow’s Office. The Representative will be delivering a proclamation to Lisa on behalf of the California State Assembly; thanking her for all she has done for our community. The presentation will be at 11am and after that the bounce houses will open, along with music, face painting, pizza and ice cream. For those less into bouncing we will have a train ride and playground games. The party will finish at 4pm but parents will be able to pick their children up at any time by going to the playground behind the Club and signing them out at our temporary front desk. The Club building will be closed as all staff will be outside supervising the fun.
This is the third party that Lisa has sponsored for the Club and we are so grateful for her generosity and kindness. We will have Lisa’s pink tent set up for her on the playground and parents and members are encouraged to say hello and thank Lisa personally for all she has done.
