Giving Tuesday is December 1st, 2015. In its fourth year, #GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. BGCLT thinks the day is a great way to kick-off the holiday season and to remind people that BGCLT’s prgrams and services rely on the generosity of the community.
#GivingTuesday harnesses the potential of social media and the generosity of people around the world to bring about real change in their communities; it provides a platform for them to encourage the donation of time, resources and talents to address local challenges. Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe receives no funding from the Boys and Girls Club of America and to keep the Club operating we rely on the generosity of donors, grant applications and membership fees. #GivingTuesday, ushering in the holiday season, is a great way to support the Club.

Bricks for Kids
You can leave a legacy for kids growing up in Lake Tahoe by having a brick etched in your name, business, or in honor of someone special. Each brick will be placed on the wall at the entrance to the Club
