When we woke to snow on Monday morning, the howling wind of Sunday seemed nothing in comparison.  And while some golfers may have cursed the sudden gusts as their shots went wide, the generous pours of Bloody Mary’s and Sidelis beer made sure everyone still had a fabulous time at the 28th Golf Classic at Edgewood Tahoe.

145 players took to the course, with Rampant MacDuffs having a record breaking 6 foursomes as part of their 40th birthday celebrations for Scotty.  Other foursomes included the Optimists, BELFOR, South Tahoe Refuse and US Bank.

Club members Kalirae, Mason and Kayden were on hand to sell raffle tickets and mulligans in the morning; while volunteers from Embarc and Cannablue helped set up the tee signs and put the player goodie bags in each cart.

Out on the course the players were treated to delicious hot dogs from Sno-Flake Drive-in and burgers from Overland Meat.  Drinks were provided at the BELFOR Bloody Mary Tent and by Sidelis Brewery.

For those players needing some extra help, Launching for Charity lowered a few pars, and more skilled players got to try their luck against a Pro from Backswing Golf Events on Hole 7.

At the end of the day players came in to hot coffee and cakes and Mason made a short speech telling the players what Club means to him.
