On February 11, 2026, the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe hosted its inaugural Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball at Riva Grill. The evening brought together community members for a vibrant celebration of livemusic, connection, and support for Tahoe youth.

Guests were entertained by live performances from the South Tahoe High School Jazz Ensemble and CB Radio, both of whom brought tremendous energy to the festivities. A beloved highlight of the evening was the traditional King Cake ceremony, featuring locally crafted cakes by Tahoe Sweet Party. Four fortunate guests discovered a hidden baby in their slice — a time-honored Mardi Gras tradition said to bring good luck in the year ahead. The evening’s silent auction was also a resounding success, further supporting the Club’s mission.
