It’s Officially Spring!

Not that it feels like it with the nasty weather we are having, but we are only two weeks out from Spring Break.

Spring Break sign up for whole year members will start on Monday 26th March and will open to after-school members on Monday 2nd April.  Signs up are at both main site and Bijou and after-school members are required to pay $5 for each day of the vacation they are attending.  The $5 includes a hot lunch.  A completed sign-up form is required for everyone to reserve a place and sign-ups are on a first come, first served basis.

Once again we are partnering with SOS Outreach to provide our members with an opportunity to learn to ski or snowboard.  On Tuesday April 10th and Thursday April 12th, members will be taken to Heavenly*, provided with all equipment, a pass and lessons from Heavenly* certified instructors.  The full value of each day is over $200 but SOS Outreach offers BOTH days to Club members for just $25.  Transportation to Heavenly* and supervision will be provided by Club staff.  This activity is offered to 3rd grade  and up and is designed for members who have never skied or snowboarded or done very little.  However, if a member is a proficient skier but would like to learn to snowboard (or vice versa) they are welcome to participate.

Sign ups for the learn to ski or snowboard program is open to ALL membership types on March 26th and spaces are limited.

The Club will be open from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm everyday of the Spring Break and members will participate in a variety of fun activities including art, STEM, sports and fitness and active play.  Fingers crossed the sun will come back for the week.
