A Few of Our Signature Elementary Programs

W.O.R.D.S. (World of Reading During Summer): This program provides on‐going focus on literacy and language arts. Members will be engaged in a variety of reading opportunities, visits to the library, spelling bees, poetry workshops, visual art tied to reading, and so much more!

BE FIT: This program combines a variety of research and outcome based model programs for fitness and nutrition

GREEN TECH ACADEMY: This is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) based program that uses all facets of a child’s academic skills in fun and engaging ways. The Academy will be adopting Trout Creek to monitor for water clarity.

ADVENTURE CLUB: This is a program where kids will use their imagination and explore their world!

YOUTH FOR UNITY: This program module focuses on the important relationships children have with each other and members of their community. Tolerance, understanding and acceptance are woven throughout the program.

AROUND THE WORLD: This geography‐based program involves not only learning the physical orientation of countries and their capitals, but also the unique aspects of cultures around the world.

JR GIANTS: Junior Giants, the flagship program of the Giants Community Fund, is a free, non‐competitive and innovative baseball program for boys and girls ages 5‐18 years old.

GEMS (Girls Embracing Milestones), Passport to Manhood and SMART (Skills Mastery And Resistance Training) moves: These give members a chance to have girl and guy time without the distraction of the opposite genders. They provide confidence-building as well as how to avoid the risky behaviors of involvement with drugs, alcohol, and gangs.

ROBO-TECH DESIGN and LIL  EINSTEIN’S: Robotics may seem daunting, but for our youngest members, we engage them in the Robo‐Tech program, an easy and fun way to explore science, technology, engineering and math.

BE GREAT GRADUATE: This goal‐oriented program gives members fun ways to set their sites on college‐starting NOW!.

STOMP OUT BULLYING: Bullies are everywhere and sometimes kids don’t know how to deal with them. This program will help kids build their confidence in standing up for themselves as well as others by knowing what to say, how to deal, and how to prevent from being bullied.
