Last Tuesday the Club held its first major fundraiser of the year, the Spirit of Spring wine tasting night at Edgewood Tahoe.
Thanks to the generosity of Edgewood Tahoe, Southern Wines and Spirits and our 130 attendees, $7948 was raised for the Club. In addition to a wide variety of wines, champagnes and spirits; guests were treated to roast beef, roast chicken and a fabulous assortments of side dishes. Raffle winners walked away with cases of wine and Heavenly Sports gift cards courtesy of Southern Wines and Spirits and Vail Epic Promise.
“We are incredible grateful to Southern Wines and Spirits and Edgewood Tahoe for supporting this annual fundraiser for the Club. It is my favorite event of the year and provides a significant contribution to the ongoing costs of running the Boys and Girls Club” said Jude Wood, Executive Director.
100% of the money raised at Spirit of Spring goes straight to the Club and will be used to pay for ongoing operational costs.
