Programs are kicking off at The Boys and Girls Clubs of Lake Tahoe. The staff has been working hard to come up with fun and educational programs to keep the members of all ages interested and engaged. Meet the staff of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Lake Tahoe.

Elizabeth Ruiz is in charge of the Front desk at Al Tahoe. She is in charge of answering the phone as well as checking members in/out.

Abigail Ruiz and Teresa Bravo are our Fine Art Specialist. This year we entered the fine Arts contest for Recycled art and Black and White picturing. Our art room is a wonderful place for members to express their creativity and let their inner Picasso shine.

Jorge Orozco is our STEMM specialist. (science, technology, engineering, math and movies) Currently the kids are working on robotics and doing many different science experiments.

Cynthia Cervera and Pedro Lopez are our Character and Leadership specialist. They help the pre-teens and teens in our community to become job ready and give them the tools to become productive members of our community. Peanut patrol also gives our younger members the chance to sniff out what’s right and wrong.

Antonio Benitez and Nik Frances are our Sports fitness and recreation specialist. It is important to teach members how to engage in physical activity, Learn techniques in various sports. Drills will help members to improve skills or build new ones. We have indoor and outdoor access with multiple options for any athlete.

Ashley Borchers is our Social Recreation specialist. Members will have the opportunity to learn about themselves through icebreakers and energizers. Many tournaments take place in our games room, Members are exposed to many different games and activities to help them work on their social skills as well as give them a safe place to engage with their friends.

Diana Troung is our Health and Wellness Specialist. Members learn how to make healthy lifestyle choices. Yoga and other physical activities promote members to BE HEALTHY.

Terica Soloman is a program aide. She helps in all program areas and is also an employee of the school district.

Tracina Lefteroff is the cafeteria specialist. During summer we serve breakfast and lunch for our members. Nutritious snacks and meals are provided at no extra cost.

Natalie C. Rodriguez, Kelly Garrity and Diana Grandoni are in charge of our operations and programs and oversee the function of the club in its entirety.
